I was so excited when Briana, Ariana's Mom contacted me about scheduling a newborn session. Her & I were good friends in high school and even though we haven't seen much of each other since then, it was so good to see her & meet her sweet baby.

Ariana came in for her Newborn session at 12 days new. Typically when a newborn comes into the studio I have the parents feed the baby before we get started so they are nice and full/sleepy. Ariana was already sleeping pretty good and stayed sleeping while I wrapped her so I decided we would just get started. I'm so glad we did because she slept the ENTIRE TIME! She was the best baby I've ever photographed! Towards the end I could hardly even wake her up to get a few awake photos. She was a joy to photograph and I was able to try out quite a few different props/poses since she was SO SLEEPY! 

Mom wanted to do a Beauty & the Beast themed photo so I picked up some red roses from Cuba City Greenhouse and used a yellow wrap and headband to symbolize Belle's dress. I love the simplicity of the image.
