Every year Family Connections of Southwest Wisconsin (a not-for-profit Family Resource Center and Child Care Resource and Referral Agency) puts on the annual On the Move event. The event is held at Legion Field in Platteville, WI. It is a free event, but they do ask for a small monetary or book donation. At the park there are all kinds of vehicles that move! Boats, a police car, fire truck, ambulance, dump truck, ATV's, cement mixer, tractors and more! I think the favorite this year was the air horn on one of the big trucks and the fire hose that kids got to spray! This year I had a booth set up with samples of my work, flyers and a chance to win a free session! Congratulations to Nicole DeRoehn on winning the free family session! I'm looking forward to meeting with her and planning her family session. I also took photos and interacted with guests at the event which I will donate to Family Connections to use for their website, marketing materials etc. I just saw on Family Connections Facebook page there were over 200 attendees and they received 100 books for their "Once Upon a Book Drive". That's awesome and all because of people like you right in your community! I hope everyone that attended enjoyed the event. Here are some of my photos from the event..
